Intercultural Communication

With ever increasing globalization and the importance of successful international cooperation, professionals need to develop a greater awareness of cultural differences. Understanding the influence of culture (particularly national, but also corporate and functional) on our perceptions, working and communication styles gives us greater sensitivity, flexibility and effectiveness when working in a global environment.

Upon completion of this course, you will:

  • understand how culture influences behavior, e.g. social interaction and management style
  • be more conscious of your own cultural assumptions and prejudices
